I know the feeling. Staring at that cabin crew application for hours, excited yet terrified to make a mistake. I was there too.
My first interview in Amsterdam was a disaster. The recruiters saw it right away. I walked out devastated and had to wait six long months before I could try again.
When I finally did, in Rome, everything changed. I was myself, calm and playful. Out of more than 800 candidates, only seven passed. I was one of them.

That first failed interview didn't stop me; it fueled me. I was determined to understand what the recruiters were really looking for. I went back, armed with a new perspective, and this time, I succeeded. That was in 2014 in Rome, Italy.
My career with Emirates wasn't just a job; it was a journey of growth. I didn't just stay in one role, I earned my way up from Economy cabin to the prestigious Business Class, and then Business Promotion (Emirates Advertising Campaigns). I lived the life you are dreaming of, and I learned firsthand what it truly takes to excel in that demanding, high-end environment.
But as much as I loved my role, I discovered a new passion: understanding the hiring process itself. I was fascinated by how great people were identified, and I knew I needed to be on the other side of the table. I wanted to be the recruiter!

I made a bold career change and dived headfirst into the world of talent acquisition. I was determined to learn the recruiting system from the inside out.
I started from the ground up, working my way from a Junior Recruitment Consultant all the way to a **Talent Acquisition Manager**. This is where I gained my most valuable experience. As the decision-maker, I reviewed over **3,000 CVs**, conducted more than **700 interviews**, and personally **hired over 130 professionals.**
Day after day, I saw the same patterns: the small, critical mistakes that cost great candidates their dream job, and the specific qualities that made others stand out instantly.
I had finally cracked the recruiter's code. And now, my mission is to share that code with you.
